Me, Myself, and I
- conservomom
- I am a mother to 3 interesting children. My 12 year old son, who we call "the boy", and my 5 year old daughter "Princess" and then the 3 year old daughter "Nana bean" or "Space cadet" depending on her many moods. I have been married to the same man for almost 13 years, which in my family has become a real feat to accomplish. I am a stay at home mom in sunny FLA, with a computer and coffee addiction.

Hurricane season
Ahhhhhhhh, it be the 1st of June here in Florida, well yeah in the rest of the country too, but it is the marking of HURRICANE SEASON! (yeah) All this really means is that for the next several weeks, until the end of November actually, we here in the "Sunshine" State will be inundated by preparedness seminars, and Hurricane supply discounts, and storm shutter commercials, that really don't do you any good now because when you call for them for even an estimate you are on a 3 month waiting list. Honestly, I love this time of year. Thunderstorms almost daily, the number of hurricanes changes weekly, so your threat level really depends on the mood of the people at NOAH, and time for the almost daily testing of the tornado sirens, oh joy! Bring on the motrin now, hurricane season is here.......wake me up in November.

I've only been to Florida once so I can barely imagine what you're going to be going through! CA is practically on a different continent!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I feel like we're on a different planet here myself.
